Building Inspector

SCM, Logistic and Operation
Department Mission
  • The primary functions of an operations department include the design and management of products, services and processes. In addition, the operations department evaluates and allocates resources to effectively deliver products and services. Management of supply chains is also an essential function of an operations department.
Role
  • Checking the strength and foundation depth of construction materials. Examining the construction system, sewerage, electrical, plumbing, along with heating systems for security and specification compliance. Examining other lifting equipment and cranes.
Authority
  • Evaluating all related products and processes
  • Calibrating and troubleshooting equipment
  • Checking relevant regulations and standards
  • Oversee project plans
Responsibility
  • Conducting land surveys before construction.
  • Reviewing blueprints and creating plans.
  • Checking the strength and foundation depth of construction materials.
  • Examining the construction system, sewerage, electrical, plumbing, along with heating systems for security and specification compliance.
  • Examining other lifting equipment and cranes.
  • Maintaining regular building logs and making certain the building site adheres to other security codes.
  • Measuring dimensions to confirm leveling, elevation, and alignment of the structure.
  • Checking plumbing, electrical installations, and heating.
  • Issuing of violation notices as well as stop work orders.
  • Issuing and signing construction and occupation permits.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture or perhaps Building Inspection Technology.
  • Confirmed work experience as a construction Inspector.
  • Expertise of construction design methods.
  • Expertise of construction materials, heating systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and sewerage methods.
  • Innovative mathematical abilities.
  • Ability to make hard choices.
  • Capability to read as well as understand blueprints and construction designs.
  • Capability to travel and work unusual hours.
  • An excellent eye for detail.
