Role
The Flight Attendant is responsible for addressing the safety and comfort needs of passengers on board a flight. Often known as a Cabin Attendant or Airline Stewardess, You will perform a variety of tasks including explaining emergency procedures, guiding passengers and carrying out safety checks.
Authority
Calibrating and troubleshooting equipment
Checking relevant regulations and standards
Leading passengers in special cases
Responsibility
Conduct safety checks before flight and make sure the plane is clean.
Demonstrate emergency and safety measures such as the use of oxygen masks, seat belts, and exit doors.
Offer passengers information and assistance to ensure health and comfort.
Welcome passengers, check tickets and point them to their seats.
Create and serve the passengers drinks and food.
Answer passenger questions about airlines, journey routes and arrival times.
Go to briefings on pre-flight, and study all the flight details.
Lead passengers in emergency situations and give passengers first aid where appropriate.
Offer support to special needs passengers including children, persons with disabilities, or elders.
Prepare analytical reports on the flight problems.
Requirements
High school certificate, or credential equivalent.
Certification and training of the cabin crew required.
At least 2 years of experience as a flight attendant.
Fluent in English and possess outstanding interpersonal communication skills.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to navigate challenging situations.
Fluency in several languages is a bonus.
