Interior Designer

Design and Architecture
Department Mission
  • Drive technical product design development from a user experience, user interface, and usability standpoint
  • Design to meet and ease user needs from as UI, displays, or logos to user experience and more.
Role
  • Providing Design Direction — The Design mission statement serves as a “North Star” that keeps everyone clear on the direction of the Design organization. It tells everyone what the Design team is doing today that will take the organization where we want to go in the future.
Authority
  • Cooperating with outside agencies.
  • Evaluating new equipment.
  • Oversee final layouts.
Responsibility
  • Outline customer layout objectives.
  • Conceptualize and sketch layout programs.
  • Determine price of completion and project specifications in the budgeting stage.
  • Establish a timeline for the conclusion of an interior design challenge.
  • Source materials and products contained in plans.
  • Create “mood boards” to sample the layout vision.
  • Utilize computer uses in the design operation.
  • Inspect design following completion to find out whether client goals are met.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or similar area.
  • Experience of design work.
  • Project management knowledge.
  • Familiarity with computational design.
  • Extremely inventive, imaginative, and artistic.
  • Outstanding communication skills, particularly in regard to communicating an artistic vision.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, Illustrator, SketchUp, or comparable design software.
