Department Mission
  • The primary functions of an operations department include the design and management of products, services and processes. In addition, the operations department evaluates and allocates resources to effectively deliver products and services. Management of supply chains is also an essential function of an operations department.
  • Hiring new volunteers and developing volunteer opportunities to conveying the organization's mission to the public. Arrange all the details of volunteering and keeps all parties notified.
  • Leading and supervising office staff to ensure maximum productivity
  • Hire, training and team performance management
  • Day-to-day decision making upon strategies
  • Supervising, mentoring, training, and coaching our office staff and delegating assignments to ensure maximum productivity
  • Hiring, coaching, and managing new volunteers.
  • Managing volunteer information, availability, and expertise, and maintaining an up-to-date database.
  • Utilizing marketing tools like outreach programs, e-mails, and volunteer databases.
  • Keeping new and existing volunteers informed about the organization and volunteer opportunities.
  • Matching volunteers to opportunities that befit their ability, and assuring they know their duties and receive the proper training.
  • Organizing training and leading on-the-job training.
  • Keeping plans and records of volunteers' work.
  • Preparing codes of conduct and operating procedures to uphold the organization's purposes.
  • Guaranteeing the organization's purpose is conveyed to the public.
  • Associate's Degree in Business Management, Human Resources, or a similar area.
  • Knowledge in volunteering and recruitment.
  • Practical understanding of databases.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Outstanding organization and team-building abilities.
