PR and Journalism
Department Mission
  • The mission of the PR Department is to improve and preserve the company's reputation for excellence. Developing and executing clear, regular, and engaging strategies to enhance the public understanding of the business, its researchers, and its value to society.
  • To Build and maintain a positive public image of the brand and company. To develop media content including press releases and social media messages, that shape public opinion.
  • Provide PR content strategy
  • Manage Press Conferences
  • Develop creative content releases
  • Budget management
  • Develop a content plan for our internal and external channels
  • Create engaging content for all platforms, including blog articles, social media posts, newsletters, and videos
  • Coordinate with other departments upon the requirement
  • Analyze web traffic and relevant metrics. Optimize monthly social media reporting
  • Relay “community” feedback to relevant internal stakeholders
  • Manage the agency briefing on the goals and organizing regular follow up
  • Devise and implement influencer communication initiatives
  • Liaise with other departments to stay updated on new marketing initiatives, product and service developments, and to ensure brand consistency
  • Attend relevant industry workshops and training
  • Degree in communication, marketing or a related field
  • 5+ years of professional experience in the PR, journalism or similar industry
  • 2+ years of working experience in a similar position and handling press conferences
  • Strong English verbal and written communication skills
  • Capable of defining strategic plans as well as day-to-day tasks.
  • Solid experience with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube is essential
  • Proficient in Google Analytics
  • Creativity, enjoy coming up with new ideas
  • A team player spirit, able to work with others to achieve a common goal
  • Ownership at their core – able to own all tasks and projects to completion
  • Organizational skills - used to simultaneously working on several projects at any one time
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines and stay focus and creative
