Substitute Teacher

Education and Training
Department Mission
  • Provide quality, cost-effective training designed to increase individual and organizational productivity and enrichment. Provide development opportunities that enhance knowledge, develop skills and enrich the organization.
Role
  • Implementing the instructional and classroom administration processes for teachers who are absent for periods. Taking attendance, describing homework, and keeping classroom cleanliness.
Authority
  • Encouraging continued and sustainable progress
  • Designing and presenting educational material
  • Monitoring free time
Responsibility
  • Develop procedures and deliver lesson aims.
  • Assign and define the homework.
  • Adhere to the curriculum and education programs assigned by the regular teacher.
  • Manage students outdoor of the classroom such as in the hallways and cafeteria.
  • Comply with all school structures and policies.
  • Assure the classroom and work area kept clean and tidy.
  • Manage the normal classroom rhythms and movements.
Requirements
  • High school degree in Teaching or equivalent.
  • 2+ years’ experience in a related position.
  • Detail-oriented and ability to follow written and verbal guidance.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
